For the first time ever, SAME is proud to present a preview of the new DIAMOND tractors, which are the evolution of an advanced, modern range with an array of important technical features. Aimed at agricultural professionals and contractors, the new Diamond range confirms the achievement of SAME's objectives: to offer high performance, maximum reliability, low running costs, and high level of comfort and ease of use. The main features include the new body, which has a more modern look in line with the new SAME “family feeling”, and the availability of automatic transmission on the 4 gears in Powershift, which enables the electronic control unit directly to select the optimum gear according to rpm and load. In addition to this innovative solution, the range features 2-speed PTO (540 ECO and 1000 rpm) for greater operational versatility, and a new hydraulic system with three separate circuits: - one circuit with a specific pump for lubrication of the transmission and for operating the powershift, the PTO clutch, the front-wheel drive function and the differential lock - one circuit with a specific pump for the hydrostatic steering - one circuit with a specific, closed centre “load sensing” pump for power lift and auxiliary service control valves, with flow rate of 120 litres per minute This circuit, without the pump, is characterised by a high level of simplicity and lower absorption, thus yielding more available power for the implements. The three-point linkage on the Diamond models also has a new geometry, designed to increase the reliability and service-life of the power lift system, while the new shape of the front support increases the steering angle by 15%, with consequent enhanced manoeuvrability. Lastly, the DIAMOND models are equipped with a new cab interior, featuring the new armrest with multi-function control, the new power lift control panel with slip control, the new gear lever built into the console and equipped with a button for changing range without using the clutch pedal. The range consists of two models: the DIAMOND 215 and the DIAMOND 265, with rated power of 211 and 262 HP respectively.
